have a complete stranger start a conversation w/ you in like a grocery store, or in a line? It happens to me all the time. Have you ever had one that the person would just not shut up? I was at Target earlier today, in the baby isle, and this older woman was like, my daughters havnin' a baby, what do you think about this, and this and this and this, after like 20 questions, I just bolted... Was that mean? I realize she may have been excited, but, jesus, it was like 25 minutes of questions....does this happen to you??

it happens to me pretty frequently, but usually the comments and questions stop after about three remarks. i did have a woman go on and on a couple weeks ago to me though, and it was about children... so maybe that's the common thread, people are more talkative and think others are more receptive when it comes to children

It happened to me too, i was at school waiting in line for lunch and then this guy turns around to me and he says "Hey we're wearing the same exact jacket" I was in a bad to begin with but I said what the hell.. I replied with "No waay, niice you know great minds think alike" I high fived him... I never saw him afterwards though..

It happens to me all the time, usually when I'm in a heck of a hurry. I always stay and talk though.

Well it's bound to happen especially if you're on a long line that's moving very slowly. it has happened to me as well.

god all the time i hate it one time this old person asked me to grab a bag of chips on the top shelf and made me gaet everything else on the top shelfs!

yes sometimes, its usually old ladies or this scary old kind lost it man at my bus stop, just smile and say 'oh look i 4gt 2 by dypers'or condoms.
