Will he go in as a Texas Ranger or Detroit Tiger?
I think as a Tiger. he has several years left in him,. and if The Tigers win a WS where he plays that would put the decision over the edge.

Danny, how can you if he stopped playing he wouldn't go? Of course he would...he has 12 gold gloves (bench has 10) and is a 13 time (going to be 14) all star (bench has 14)...has caught 1,990 games (ranks right up with some pretty great HOF catchers). You clearly need to finish your chores before you answer anymore question in the baseball side.

At this point in time, I'll say a Texas Ranger.
If the Tigers continue their success, he plays for a long time AND they win a series, then he'll go in as a Tiger.
Georgie. Don't ask this question. I want Pudge back in Arlington.
Letting him go was the 2nd worst mistake Texas has made in the last 10 years. The first was signing A-Rod to that huge deal.

He will go in as a Ranger. He spent 12 years there and won more Gold Gloves than he knows what to do with while there. When he retires and people look back on his career it will be as a Ranger. I dont think it will be the Tigers because he wont play there long enough and even if they win a World Series it wont be enough to make him go in as a Tiger. Rodriguez won a World Series with Florida but he has no chance of going in with them cuz he was only there for 1 year. So to answer your question he will go into the Hall as a Ranger.

Pudge has had some good years with the Tigers, but I don't think there's any way he goes in with anyone other than the Rangers. He played 12 years for Texas and that's where he made a name for himself. If he plays another 3-4 years and continues producing the way he currently is, I think the answer is much tougher to determine.

Excellent question. If Rodriguez finishes his storybook career with the Tigers, and they get back to the post-season a time or two than I would tend to agree with you.
If not, then I think he could go in as a Ranger.
Cleary not as a Marlin :)

Easy to answer, If he stopped playing today, he wouldnt go into the hall. If he plays the other 5 to 7 years that he needs to have hall type numbers with the tigers, then he will go in as a tiger no doubt.

pudge will go in to the hall with the rangers not detroit, he has had his best years with the rangers this is were he had his best numbers and that is what the voters mostly look at when voting. Not to mention all the gold gloves he has won

The plaque cap logo is intended to reflect where a player had his greatest historical impact, and right now, that would be with the Rangers. Could change; he's not done yet.

i think definitley a tigers uniform.
they have been very good to him and he loves his spot on that team. as good as he is, he could probably play another 4-7 years, maybe more maybe less, with the tigers.
