I have a 2003 Chevy Duramax truck. I have been getting a bad leak on my driver side floorboard. When i looked behind the center consol, I found the water was coming out of the air conditioning duct that goes to the rear outlets. Sometimes i get condinsation that comes out of the center vent also. Any idea what the problem is?

theres a little black 2 inch tube about as big as your pinky finger comming out of the firewall, if your sitting in the pass seat it will be on the outside of the truck above were your left foot is, grab the tube and pinch and roll it in your fingers. your gonna get wet

All HVAC systems installed in cars or commercial chillers/refrigerators have some condensation coming from what I will call the evaporator as that is what you have in your truck. Every core has duct work that leads and collects this condensation and empties out the firewall area at the lower part of it, usually more to the passenger side. What usually happens when this vent or pipe gets plugged is the water builds up to a point inside and finds its way out somewhere else which then looks like a water leak inside the truck. What you have to do is to locate the down spout of the drain either under the hood or under the truck's firewall area and remove and clean the orifice out so the water drains through here and not into the cab. Good luck.
