They're really doing a bad job because they only care about themselves.
Healthcare costs are astronomical, but people on welfare get the best care for free...
If you're not white, you have a very easy ride, because all you have to do is say racism and you win.
If you're rich, you can buy anything you want, even lawmakers.
I could go on and on, but this country is being run by corrupt politicians. Democrats and Republicans are more worried about what the other party is doing than what they are doing to their own country.
being a Polotician was never meant to be a career, it was meant to serve the people of the place you lived, and pass the torch to someone else.
I think it may be time for another American Revloution.

The politicians, particularly the lifetime one, do not care a whit about doing anything for our Country. They have been in the Congress and Senate so long they have no interest in what the U.S. citizens want and need. They have their own agendas and their own selfish motivations and corporations and elite groups to pay off and that, my friend, they will do as long as we continue to vote them into office.
We definitely need term limits. It's too bad for the few doing this job with integrity but it is time these continuous term politicians to get out and get a real job or just retire and go away and keep their mouth shut!

Well "getting rid of them all" might be one solution. That would probably mean that the Military would take over the Government and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs would save his job and move into the White House. At least that would provide a lot more money for the Veterans and the Widows.

Absolutly! Their plans are a complete disolution of our borders and constitution then making us a part of the new world order by fully implementing their CFR north American union plans! They are just about there and only need to cram a few more bills through like the amnesty bill, gun control bill, and the hate speach bill for their plans to be complete enough we won't be able to stop it! I hope you find this real scary! Scary enough to take some posative action to derail their plans before it is too late! We all need to call, write and email our senators every day this coming week to stop the amnesty bill! I have a link below to make this easy to do.

I am in total agreement with you and other responses. When I write my book---I will probably wind up like Abraham L. and J.F.K.. The title is "Absolute Freedom Is An Illusion" and will be touching base on many issues. For now, lets not forget what politics stands for: poly is Latin meaning many and tics are blood sucking creatures. I say keep letting them do their thing because they aren't thinking about our future, nor their own future generation. Who the hell is going to be around to protect their estates and livelihood?!?! I do however would like to run for office and acquire diplomatic immunity myself to honestly rectify our nations "problems". I am willing to go toe to toe with anyone and make them an offer they can't refuse---so to speak.

No, but they're certainly helping themselves to the huge cash trough the government's laid out for them. They vote themselves pay raises in the middle of the night (because if they did it in broad daylight, someone would assassinate them). They pay no attention to their constituencies, only to the wealthy elitists, corporations, and powerfully influential who contribute heavily to their campaigns. They believe themselves to be some kind of privileged royalty instead of the humble public servants they're supposed to be. Most of them are wife beaters; bad-check writers; liars; child molesters; adulterers; alcoholics; drug abusers or - worst of all - lawyers. -RKO- 06/17/07

Have you ever heard of a politician leaving office to go back to a life of poverty? They are padding their nests at our expense. Oklahoma once had a governor who was deeply in debt upon entering office, but upon leaving, had plenty of money, good land, etc. Do I really have to explain it to you?
