I just bought a Champ Bailey Jersey from Ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=150132756662&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=005
It looks extremely cheap (as in price-wise), but it says authentic, besides it looks alright from the photo.
Anyway, lets just say its a fake, whats the main disadvantage of a fake authentic to a real one?
Do the letters or numbers come off faster or something?
Thanks, greatly appreciated.

Some jerseys are obvious fakes because they get the numeral style wrong. James Harris' Ram jersey fake has shown up on ebay from time to time. They have the number "2" at a different style, which makes it inaccurate.

On this Champ Bailey jersey you won the name is in the wrong font style, so this is not what they wear in the pros like the ad misleads. Take a look at the reference pic below. Click on the image of Champ's back for a closeup. Notice the name, there are small tabs sticking out of the letters and it is different from what you have. I suggest all buyers of jerseys check Getty Images first for what the jersey is supposed to look like.

Man that's a fake. Watch out for that on Ebay, it happens all the time.

The disadvantage, besides looking cheap, is the numbers will fade in the wash. Authentic decals are sewn on. Go with the authentic, it's better quality and one day maybe you can get an autograph and have it framed. That looks real nice with an authentic jersey.

And by the way, to all those that think it is a "real" jersey...just look how wide it is, Authentic jerseys are very slim in the abdominal area and loose in the shoulders for the pads....and any "authentic" jersey that is 20 bucks??? COME ON, retail is about 200 dollars. People, anything that cheap and claiming to be real (on ebay for god's sake) is too good to be true. The reason that scam sellers stay in business, is because people fall for that crap....

Yeah the numbers and letters will peal off really really fast. I would make sure that it is a fake and then send it back to the seller and get your money back. But that is only if you want to wear. If you are just gonna hang it up or collect it or whatever, it will be fine, but when it is worn, it falls apart real fast.

The jersey is reall according to the pictures, but remember this if this is a REAL jersey than buy it because its cheap especially that of such a good player. If you buy it and find out its fake, give it back and you'll get a full refund according to the seller, if he/she refuses than conatct eBay and they'll help you get your money back or you can sue him for fraud.

It looks good to me. I have both real and fake jerseys. for that price its worth it. I have never had a real or fake jersey fade on me. The thing is to get it dry cleaned if you are worried about it.
I still have my High School, collage, and semi-pro jerseys. None would be considered real NFL jerseys and they never faded on me. You should buy it!

I think it looks real. The letters are sewn on so even if it is a fake it'll still last a long time. I say get it.

It's a very good upgraded replica. The good thing is that is looks nice and come with a 100% money back guarantee if you don't like it.

What do you have to lose?
