I think dogs are. They are so loyal! Cats tend to be more aloof. I'm not saying that cats aren't loyal or loving, but I honestly think that dogs are more faithful.

Best wishes!

Dogs by far. Dogs work, eat, sleep, and play as a pack. They're pack animals. So essentially, to them, you're the alpha of the pack. As long as you work to keep that connection with your dog, they'll be loyal to you 'til the end. Cats, on the other hand, may be friendly and love you, but only when it suits them. They're much more independant, and thus, not very faithful. They may be sad when you're gone, but they won't protect you from potential danger, etc.

Personally, I think Winston Churchill said it best:
"Dogs look up to you, cats look down on you. Pigs treat you as equals."

Dogs seem to be more faithful, and I say that as a cat lover. A dog is intensely loyal, but as they say, the cat will "take a message and get back to you" whenever its convenient. Still, I love cats--mine come running down the stairs with big cat smiles on their faces every time I come home, to say it touches me is putting it mildly--it always puts a smile on my face to see their happy smiling faces!

that isa silly statement, anyway there is no doubt as to the answer of that question. Dogs are faithful to a fault and cats do exactly what cats want to do.

dogs are more faithful. They are pack animals and veiw you as a pack member.

Cats make good companions, but they just dont form pack bonds like dogs do.

dogs are more loyal. a cat is genetically seclusive and doesn't really interact with other people. Dogs are always wanting to play and hey love company.

Both are faithful, but dogs are easier to earn faith from. With cats you have to earn it, once you have it you have it for life
