hi tinkerbell, your hubby needs to remember it takes two to make kids and it also takes two to look after them, he should want to spend fathers day with them! they will only be young once and want their dad around he has the rest of his life to go to concerts, im sure he didnt mean to upset you so much but needs to understand he did and putting te phone down on you only made it look like he did mean to, im sure you'll solve this you sound like a switched on chic!!!! take care hun xx

OK he made a mistake not taking his keys and inconveniencing you. Not good, he may have said sorry, but at the moment that doesn't cut it.
You have good cause to feel a little angry/upset.

Now stop and think for a second.
Is hubbie usually thoughtful or thoughtless?

Have you never made a mistake?

Do you want to escalate the situation? No matter how many times you call he isn't likely to come home earlier, in fact he may get stubborn and stay latter etc etc.

Up to you I don't know all the ins and outs.
Here is something to consider.
Send him a txt and say.
Sweetheart don't want to fight love you, but I'm really tired and have to go to work early.
Can I leave the keys under the mat in the porch for you?
(or whatever you are smart enough to think of somewhere )

See what answer you get.
PS don't forget a few kisses.
Hopefully he hasn't got to far into the stubborn bit yet.

Good Luck

I had an ex that hung up on me all the time and I hated it. I got soooo mad about it. He was a very rude guy though and abusive in many ways. I am out of that relaitionship now and with a man who treats me wonderful. SO far we have had no arguments but we have told each other if ever one of us got to that point that we would tell the other one that I am hanging up now that I cant talk anymore.
Talk to him about it when the arguement cools down. Let him know it bothers you. Open communication is the key.

Being mean is going to get you knowhere and just cause more arguments, : ) calm down there isn't a lot you can do at the moment he is playing to an audience if his mates are with him, you are best waiting till tomorrow when you both have a chance to talk face to face, my x husband always used to slam the phone down on me usually when he knew i was right and he didn't want to admit he was in the wrong! Sound familiar, let him calm down, shouting at each other is going to get you knowhere honest, i know it's hard but just blank his calls, have a bath and chill in bed you be the adult let him act like a spoilt brat if thats what he wants...good luck

What are you arguing about?

It can't be just because he's at a concert and you're at home.

If it is, grow up, someone's got to look after the kids.

You can go out with your mates next week.

Take advantage of the fact you've got the full use of the remote control and can watch what you want on TV.

If u had a hubbie like mine who only uses curse words while shouting on the phone, then hanging up is the simplest and best way to end the discussion.

I think you should try to forget about it and don't go to bed early and lock him out - that will only make matters worse!
Have an early night and read a book and luxuriate in that double bed by yourself for a while!
I am on my own and the biggest advantage is having a king sized bed to spread out in!

It must be very tempting to lock him out, particularly as he is watching Muse, and you are at home! It would make me very mad if someone kept hanging up on me, but at least he has'nt turned if off altogether! However, I don't think I would lock him out

I know how you feel. When I argue with my Fiance I get so mad I want to kick him out but I realize in the end that'll just prolong the arguement so I just ignore him which he hates cuz he doesn't know what I'm thinking.

Stop annoying your husband with petty problems and go and get some house work done. Make sure there is something for your husband and friend to eat when they get in. Now stop moaning and get a shift on..
