The 802.11n card is going to jack up the price by $60. Is the "n" service widely available yet? Would I be better off just upgrading at a later time?

On a side note, just wanted to confirm... "No Wireless LAN (Antenna Only)" means that I would have to purchase a PC card with an antenna sticking out the side, correct?

Well the second guy is completely wrong, N cards are totall backwards compatible with b/g at least, you need to check for sure on a (not that popular anyway). So I would say go with it, use the G now and then you will be future proof when N is the standard.

N aint standard yet and you'll hafta buy a card if the sender is sending 802.11n-compatible and is not backward (802.11a/b/g) compatible. If yer PC has the same stuff inside as the router sends, then you won't need one of those blamed cards! (My HP has a/b/g and I don't need a card here in the house. I haven't tried in my favorite airports or hotels yet but I suspect it'll be okay...it's a new HP.)

From what I've seen, most new PCs are available with N cards. I'd get one if I had it to do over. Heck, I'd get the fully loaded model. (Can you get a/b/g/n so's everybody'll be happy?)

N provides better range and speed, if you can afford it, it will be the standard soon. But if you just want a regular wireless, G is good.
