I am part Irish, but I am also part English and Scottish. I like my English and Scottish sides better because both my Scottish and English side had nobility and royalty in it, and they kicked the crap out of the Irish for more than 800 years, so I decided I would rather associate myself with winners rather than loser peasants. Plus, the Irish are drunks, they are poor, and they vote Democrat in the elections. (I am a Republican)

I am confused. I presume you are from the USA.
The USA is a sort of republic, yet you admire the nobility and royalty. You should be a Royalist.

You hate the Irish (Eire is a republic) which as an American you are also proud of Republicanism. The first great republican was Oliver Cromwell who Irish people illogically hate. They should be royalists.

I pose another question of prejudice.
It is the same with the Welsh who call themselves Celts. The Celts came from Germany and originally from the Black Sea. There were blond or red haired and were conscious of this because they always tried to bleach there hair lighter. Why do people with dark or brunette hair think they are Celts?

Facts
The English did not invade Ireland it was the Normans. The English were slaves (serfs) 800 years ago. I do not like royalists because they were Mafia dons, nothing to be proud of.
When the Stuarts took control of the English throne, after 1607 the settled Ireland as a colony.
The Irish were led by fools who used the peasantry to protect their own claims to land.
After the Act of Union in 1801, the Irish Catholic gentry used the identity of religion to start a religious hate war against the Hanoverians and London Parliament. Until around 1830/1840 inter sectarian marriage was not uncommon. After the famine it was no existent because of a Fenian campaign of lies.

Do not blame the Irish because they were used by vested interests for personal gain. The Irish drank in America because the face open prejudice from the opposing camp. They felt devalued and marginalised especially because by then the Clerics were exploiting them as well.

I can also claim royal descent and it is probable that everyone could if the records were still in existence. I cannot condone prejudice - I expect you call yourself a Christian then show some charity.

The world is controlled by very selfish and manipulative people

Answer
They are easy going and genuine. It is still not as true of Ulster however where prejudice and ignorance still reign in some quarters.

You are stupid. The Irish are the most patriotic people in the world. They won't let anyone talk bad about their country. That is how it should be. You are very stupid. I am ashamed to have you part Irish because I am Irish. We are not all drunks. That is just a stupid stereotype. It's not our fault that we invented beer. It's not our fault we are patriotic unlike your stupid Scots. All the Scottish have are bagpipes. I suppose you're talking about the English from England. All they are are a bunch of losers that have a Queen just because. What purpose does the Queen have? None whatsoever. That is what the prime minister is for. If you are speaking of the Americans, then you are even more stupid for calling them English. All they are are fat, lazy, slobs. I am Irish. I am a republican. All of Europe are a bunch of drunks, even your precious English and Scottish. So basically what you need to do is to stop criticizing our country based on stupid stereotypes that aren't true.

Well, the "underdog" is usually more liked. I for one, prefer the Irish out of the 3. =) All the Irish people I've met have been extremely friendly and always in a good mood....can't say that about the English.
