The best deal is what i have with my mobile phone its long winded but here it is. I got a 12 month contract with orange with 12 month free line rental however as my normal line rental would have been £35 i was elligable for 8mbit broadband. so free contract and free broadband with just a little work. suggest logging on to www.mobilephonebazaar.co.uk to get ur self one of these deals.

Don`t be fooled into all this talk of superfast ISP`s.
All ISP`s offer speeds - and this is what you have to look for - "UP TO".
None of them can promise to give you 4MB or 8MB or whatever speed.
They ALL say "UP TO".
So even if you are offered promises of 24MB, remember that they also say "UP TO" 24MB.
Be careful that you don`t fall into a trap you may end up regretting.

I know what you mean, I was the same, I dont want it all connected to my phone subscriptions, and all these little add-ons..I just wanted to find a reasonable price for broadband and that only which is fast!
I went to www.moneysupermarket.com/broadband
It lets you compare broadbands, and finds best for what you want...its really good
Let me know how you get on, Ive had no problems with mine now, and its just what i wanted

To be honest I recently have looked at different companys but I have to say Virgin media (I think you can get it seperate from tv and phone.) AOL are not bad, you can get a decent speed for a cheap price
