Sri Lanka's first test victory was against India. In the 2nd test
of 1985 series between Sri Lanka and India played at P. Saravanamuttu Stadium, Colombo from 6th to 11th September, 1985, Sri Lanka beat India by 149 runs,
which was their first win in test match.
