From middle school until 10th grade, I had a difficult time being accepted by my peers. I was always labelled as the outsider because I was raised by my mother who speaks only English. They thought that I thought that I was better because I spoke fluent English, while they all spoke the native language, and or broken English. When I transferred to a school outside the community, I felt like an outsider for being Native.
So my biggest problem was feeling like an outsider, in turn I became one.

Being OUT. It wasnt necessarily MY probloem per se, it was the problem of my classmates. I attended a mixed highschool in a suburban part of Georgia. When I say mixed I mean that I was surrounded by extremes of class and race. And hating homosexuals was about the only thing the alumni had in common.
The discrimination made me hate going to classes. I would end up skipping school most days from fear of being taunted and bullied.

My biggest problem was geometry had to take it twice and the 2nd time I was the only senior in it everyone else was lower classmen, I barley passed the 2nd time if it was not for this really smart , sweet guy who let me copy his work I would have never passed. I married that guy after high school and we will have been married 10 years this year. Sometimes problems are blessing in disguise!

You have the same problem that many guys in the world (I told you because I am from Mexico) someday I have the same problem, you must talk with your parents and say your problem, ask for help, it means " I need extra class or help me to pass the year-school" Other thing, talk with you Parents before the report arrive, tell them that you feel very bad.

I was horrible in math too. My biggest struggle was when I lived in Niles, Illinios. It was a Jewish community at the time (back in mid 1960's) and I wasn't very well liked by the teachers because of my faith. That tone spilled over to the kids and most of them didn't like me either. It was awful. I only had to endure it for 2nd and 3rd grade. Thank God.

Being gay and in sheer terror that someone would find out. In retrospect I don't know how they would have known. I never had sex with anybody. Times were different 40 years ago.
