Leonard Cohen, poet, writer, musician, composer, Buddhist mystic. I wish I had his perception and sensitivity.
Cohen is best known as a singer, but age has not been kind to his voice. Sometimes, I can find old vinyl of his extraordinary songs.

I am striving to be the person that everybody else will want to be like. I could not just name one persons set of qualities so here are a couple.
Martin Luther King Jr. For strength and courage to stand up and speak out in a time when hate was par for the course.
John Lennon. To be able to pour yourself into your art like he did would be amazing! And everything he did was to try and make things better. Sometimes came off as a little weird but most of the time he was right on!!
Bono from U2. Since the day he became a millionaire rock star he has been giving money and time back to the world. Not just the Irish, Irish Americans or Americans! But every place that has needed help Bono has been there! From 911 to New Orleans to aids in Africa! And he still has time for world tours and albums! To have that kind of drive and to use it for such good is something I would love to have!!!!
And I guess the Weather Underground for having the strength to hide from the man for 10 years in the 70's to try and make the world a better place!

i struggle daily due to the way i was reared. i try to do what is right but, my potty mouth and aggressive attitude is overwhelming. when does a person know when to let go? overcome the fear that one would lose ones' self during the transformation. i have been this way for so long, will i still be insanely funny and popular if i were to stop cursing and snapping peoples heads off? i compare myself to chef Ramsey of Hell's Kitchen. yet hilarious.

I don't want to be "like" anybody but myself, but I do see some of my mother's, and my father's personalities in myself. Thinking of a couple of well known people, I'd like to have the quiet strength and courage of Linda McCartney, the eternal optimism and humor of Ellen DeGeneres, and the wisdom and spirit of Maya Angelou

I rather have the qualities to heal both physical/mental but I'm not that high, but higher than nothing.
