I always go light with my makeup for Summer as well. I use concealer with bronzer and mascara.

Leave the liquid make up for the winter time. Get a sheer tint sunscreen (Murad makes a great one!) that will give you sun protection and still give you a little bit of color. If you are oily, stick with a powder blush, but if you have normal/combo or dry skin, use a cream blush that is in the bronze shade.

If you have dark circles under your eyes, or areas of break outs, go ahead and use cover up, but go a little lighter with the application than you usually would because you're not using a foundation.

Dust a light covering of nude eye shadow on your eyes; you can use eyeliner too, if you wish, or just skip it and go straight to the mascara.

Finish with a light/nude/bronze lip gloss; not too glossy, just enough to add a bit of sheen to your lips.

For an extra bit of umph, I like to take a gold eyeshadow, and lightly brush it using a fan brush to my cheekbones (above your blush, but below your under eyes... the name of the bone is zygomatic arch... don't ask me how I know that!) It gives a finished look to your make up that you really didn't spend any more than 5 minutes on!

The most important is to have a natural look. Start with some mosturizer; second (only if you need it) use a little bit of foundation or face powder; then apply a pastel eyeshadow or mix it with other. If you want you can use some eyeliner and mascara. Finally apply some lipgloss on you lips.

I definitely can see where you are coming from. You should use a light concealer, and maybe a nice skin moisturizer too. Wear some bright colors on your eyes so that you attract attention to your eyes, and wear water-proof mascara.
I hope that I could give you the information that you are looking for.

If you have nice skin, try just using a light powder. This will lesson shine and keep the skin looking fresh. Avoid placing mascara on your lower lashes as this can just smudge in the heat and leave darkness under your eyes. Buy a good quality eye shadow to avoid creases. Light lips and fresh colours. And it may be tempting, but don't buy water-proof mascara...it is terrible for your lashes. :)

I think you should wear water-proof mascara and a water-proof foundation or coverup. You can also try wearing eye shadow that is close to your skin color so that you still look pretty but nobody knows for sure that you are wearing make-up. You should also wear a lipstick that gives your face color but not an extravagant burst of color, somethng natural!

this is a good one for me as i'm a make up artist. if you want a lightweight base with quite good coverage then benefit do a great one called non fiction and then set it with their get even powder. To add some colour their dallas powder is great as a blusher and bronzer. If you like mac better then mineralise is a great lightweight base you can set it with blot powder and would also recomend their fix plus. Colour wise amber, bronze and bluetones look great on blue eyes in the summer. Green always looks great on brown. keep lips quite sheer with tinted lip balms in bronze and honey tones. also to make the colour of our eyes stand out try benefit bad gal lash blue it really works it makes your eye colour more intense and the whites look brighter.
