Well since last year I have a regular job, I did all kind of things before that but this is the first time that I have a steady contract. How about taxes, I had to fill up a form called 'loonbelasting verklaring' in which I have stated that my boss should pay the 'loonbelasting'.
Do I still have more taxes to pay, or is this now automatically done? Or do I have to get a t-biljet or something like that?

Willeke, thanks! So they send it to you and you do not have to download it or get after it yourself then?

If you don't want to fill in any tax-forms in Holland you basically don't have to... They'll just send you a bill or not and if you get one you just pay it, or not... Filling in a T-form (T is for teruggaaf or tax-return) is always a good idea because you usually actually do get something back and sometimes quite a lot... I hope this helps...

congrats on the new job! :)

Many people do not have to fill in a tax-form. You did not receive a form, so you do not have to fill in one. Only if you have specific reason to get money back, you could fill in a T-biljet. Do not send when you are not sure to get money back, because it is better for you if you do not have to fill in forms. If you have to pay an extra 100 - 500 euros, you do not have to bother.

The "Belastingdienst" has all the information from your employer and your bank. So wait untill you have bought a house. Then it will pay to fill in the forms.

If you want to reclaim tax money you may have had to pay while you did not need it, you will need to fill out a form.
If the tax office sends you a form you will have to fill it out, unless it says that it is optional (I do not know if that does exists.)
If you get a tax form sent home they will continue a few years till they see that the amount is minimal and you stop getting them.

In all other cases, you should not have to fill out a form, and if you do not ask for one you will not get one next year either.

Added:
If the tax people think you need to pay, or if you have had to fill out a form the last year and had to pay or did get back (and more than just a few euro's) you will get a form.
If you do not get a form you might ask for one yourself (or do it electronic) but you do not have to.
