...So I've heard.
Is it true? Because my laptop (which is new) is very slow so to speak. It's an HP Pavilion dv6000 and it's hot most of the time to the point that I can smell the smoke. ( NO it's not burning, i can just smell the steam or something )

Help?

..So the slow loading when you turn on the computer, weird stuff my computer does, etc. -> caused by the hot temperature? It kinda makes sense but I'm sort of skeptical. This laptop does have a fan though, should i buy a better one or something? those add-ons?

heat will degrade performance greatly. and eventually cause damage to the point that it will not work anymore. you must find a way to bring the heat down. use a program that will show you the heat of the processor and hdd etc. Cool it down. Find any way to do it. get the fans checked. get a spare fan and keep it away for the future.

What is the specs of your Laptop. What processor. it is the hottest part of the laptop. keep your processor cool, keep your VGA system cool and keep your HDD cool

Temperature absolutely affects computer performance. Why else would there be there so many fans and cooling devices for them. With computer processors, colder is better.

My power supply stopped working on my old desktop and it would run just fine for about an hour then it started doing weird things and eventually crash. After allowing it to cool, it worked fine again. I eventually tracked the problem to the inoperative fan. After correcting the problem... no more problems.

Keep cool...

sure, they're. Batteries are maximum suitable stored in a funky, dry place. Too chilly or too warm can influence overall performance. Batteries could additionally be disposed of in a appropriate place. The trash can is sufficient, yet some human beings save an empty espresso can for in simple terms batteries. They contain acid that would leak and could poison pets if eaten.
