1. f(t)=square root (t^4+6t^2+9)
g(t)=t+3/3
c=3
compute (f of g)(c)

2. A projectile is fired from a cliff 500 ft above the water at an inclination of 45 degrees to the horizontal, with a muzzle velocity of 70 ft per second. the height h of the projectile above the water is given by h(x)= -32x^2/(70)^2 +X+500, WHERE X IS THE HORIZONTAL DISTANCE OF THE PREOJECTILE FROM THE BASE OF THE CLIFF. FIND THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT OF THE PROJECTILE.

3. y intercepts of f(x)= (x^2-4)/(x^2+12x-11)

2. Find dh/dx = -64 x/(70)^2 +1
Set dh/dx=0 & 4900/64 = X
Substitute this X back into h(x) to find h
3. Set x = 0, then y-intercept = 4/11
4. Set x^2-4 = 0. Then x=2,-2 are intercepts
(this is a weird function that blows up when the den = 0)
