Giligan's Isle Please remember they made a million comedy shows in the 1960s ... Hollywood was a jet plane What I want is, words (text) on the screen that tell you what their conversation means. Much of the communication devices they used are no longer around. I think a Government job should be to analyze all the TV shows. We should fill out guides that define the behavior and rhetoric of the show. There are 500 things we could write about, such as sentiment, morality, justice, and truth Also, honor. What did people honor 50 years ago?

If we didn't talk about t.v at work, I don't think we would have any conversations, tee hee. I got a digital box for Christmas and now have access to many channels and so it becomes more difficult than when there were only 5 channels to talk about. By the way, do you think Clare in Coronation Street has gone off her rocker AGAIN?

The thing is you cannot get away from the trash that is on television, I do not watch it at all and yet every day in the papers there are pages and pages of garbage written about the pathetic people who appear on these shows and you cannot avoid overhearing people talk about it unfortunately.

Yes, It's a kind of snobbery. My Brother will not stay in the room when 'Deal or no Deal' is on. Some people are ashamed to admit they are just ordinary. Some are genuine in not watching much TV. But not many I fear.

LOL this is sooooooo true. I had people at work tell me they don't watch big brother it's a load of rubbish but then they know what is going on.

I don't watch any of the soaps they're a load of hooey, but I watch other things, if I don't watch it I tell 'em, I'm not ashamed.
