I dont know my dogs birthday, she was a rescue pet that i adopted. We sing her happy birthday on the anniversary of the day we adopted her, give her a big bone. She howls along to the birthday song, only on her "birthday"
On christmas, she has her own stocking with doggie treats and tennis balls.
She gets up by the fireplace and takes it down off the mantle too.

My dog gets Christmas presents...but not birthday presents lol we always forget her birthday. She only likes food now (too old for toys) and because she is overweight we can't really give her too many presents anymore.

My guinea pigs get presents at christmas too. I have 11 so it would be hard to give them presents on all their birthdays lol. Not that a guinea pig would know anyway!!

We don't know our cats' birthdays, but the dog always gets a treat on her birthday, and a new bed and toys and stuff for Christmas.

My family gets our dogs presents on Christmas so that they don't feel left out. Then we wrap the dog toys we get them in white tissue paper and tie them shut with ribbon, then let the dogs open them. It's a lot of fun.

sounds like a waste of money to me. An animal can't possibly understand why it's getting gifts. Just feed them every day and love them. That's all they want.
