OK I just changed a burnt out rear light on a 2001 Subaru Outback wagon. Now the tail lights and front parking lights stay on even with the car turned off and lights turned off. Whats up with that? I pulled the tail light Fuse to get them from runing the battery down overnight.

Locate your day time running light module & unplug. The headlights should operate normally.

Sounds like a short in the system which maybe what burnt the bulb out in the first place. I would first look at the wiring where i replaced the tail light and see if anything is shorted across however you should not be getting voltage there at all so, I think I would take this one to a dealer and have them look at it.
Good luck
