1. Battery is dead(U may have left a small light on)
2. No Gas or dirt in the Gas
3. Is your gear in the park mode?If it is on another r ,it wont start4. Try and press down on the gas a few times
5. Are U cranking is all the way?
6.some cars require the seat belts on , or they wont start.
7. R U using the correct key, and not the valet's key?
8. do U need a code to start the car?
If all this has been checked. call the customer service for your dealer or your insurance co, or triple A, they will come in 30 mins. to help.(If U R not a member of AAA, get it, it is cheap and very very useful)

If all you hear is a rapid clicking, your battery is faulty. It has enough power to charge all the other things in your car but not enough amperage to crank the starter motor around to turn the engine over. That's why it's just clicking. Think of it like you trying to lift a really heavy box but can't. That's how your starter motor is feeling when it clicks like that.
Have your battery load tested and your starting and charging system tested. If it's a new car and your battery is already dead, you could have a short draining you battery somewhere in your car. Or your alternator is faulty and not charging your battery.
Good luck.

Did you attempt in simple terms the volts or how many cranking amps it has? A battery could have 12.3 volts (sufficient to start up it) yet have not sufficient amps to tutor the engine over. First attempt getting a leap start up. If it turn over precise away, that's the battery. the only different achieveable thought I even have is a undesirable starter solenoid, rather uncertain although. in all probability a corroded terminal end, the two valuable or damaging. unfastened connection on valuable or damaging ends on battery. it is approximately it. good success.

Your battery is probably nearly dead. The lights and radio may still work when the battery is too weak to turn over the engine. You need a jump start.

Sounds like the battery.....there's just enough juice to turn on the lights & radio.

maybe the terminal to your battery is loose, or you accidentally left your dome light on, it shouldn't be the alternater yet, as you said it's a new car.... try jumping it and taking it to your local advance auto parts or pep boys who do free battery testing and installation.... good luck

It could be the alternator, but if it's a new car, it shouldn't be. You may have to take it somewhere so they can put it on a diagnostic machine.
