Philosophers are generally loners and prefer to be alone to think. As a result, they can be a little "off" at times. Philosophers tend to be outside of the "norm" in terms of behaviours and interests. Philosophers tend to be downers in terms of the intensity of what they think about --usually coming back to death, the meaning of life, etc. Philosophers tend to have smaller numbers of friends but more intense in nature.

I too have been called weird. I have been told I am child like but not childish, always there to help, intelligent, & that I don't wear a mask. All very humbling. As for what I think of myself, I am always suprised by anything postive from anyone, I think I see myself as rather invisable.

Even for my closest friends i will always be a mystery. But they will know my intentions are sincere, my motivations pure, my understanding keen, my friendship heartfelt and more than surface level. My friends and I will never take our lessons from the same book, but we will always be on the same page.

what is individualism? every single person is great at something and every single person has uniqueness, but (yes here it comes) no one single person is truly greatly unique. we are all of one and the sum of what has been forgotten: life and being human
