Need help with external css? Please!?

I am creating site through bravenet and I want to create an external style sheet. PLz explain step by step I wish to import it how do I do it plz help!

I have created a file in my file manager which has css code. but it iz not working.

I'm not sure how bravenet works but...

If you can (on your own computer) create a file with extension .css and place in it all your css statements then...

...in your .htm files, in ... and before
...place


...where "somename" is the name of that external css file!

Of course, then, you'll have to upload the css file (like by ftp) to your bravenet space!

(Incidentally, if ol' bravenet is doin' you the ever-so-courteous favor of givin' you your very own domain name, like www.yourdomain.com, then if you can manage to name your css file yourdomain.css - that is, with a filename the same as the name as your domain, for some very odd reason, that'll help Google be able to find your domain for search reasons!)
