Absolutely. Not doing so would be similar to dragging a horse, kicking and screaming, to a well, forcing water down its throat, and having the water spit back in ones face.

I think this is proof that the US is not controlling the Iraqi Parliament. If we want Iraqi to be an independent country, we have to let their Parliament make their own decisions.
