It Does!

The sun does spin, or rotate. Because it is a gas, it does not rotate like a solid. The sun actually spins faster at its equator than at its poles. The sun rotates once every 27 days at its equator, but only once every 31 days at its poles. Gas giant planets act in a similar way.

The sun does not wander around the solar system like the planets because of its great mass. It contains the vast bulk of all the mass in the solar system. It does actually orbit about a point within its own volume due to its gravitational interaction with Jupiter, the second most massive body. Two bodies in orbit around each other will revolve about their common center of mass. The distance ratio to the COM of the smaller to the larger equals the mass ratio of the larger to the smaller.

'agtfos' is absolutely correct. And, in addition to spinning on its axis, the Sun also orbits around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy (just like every other star in the Milky Way)
