One of the best antennae is a Marconi Long Wire.

The Long Wire will allow you to listen for stations around the world.

Bear in mind that the antenna is the biggest area that you can make improvements in your radios reception.
Avoid simple long wire antennas unless you are in a very electrically quiet noise location.
