He is always so busy. He has diabetes and high blood pressure ,but both are controlled with meds. Its like he never thinks of having sex. I bought him a book on how to be romantic"1001 Ways to be Romantic" I thought this would help him think about it more, or at least make a spark. He has no problem getting aroused or ejaculating. The problem is getting him to make the first move, or to show some kind of interest.

It could be his diabetes that is affecting his libido. I know for myself that I had little or no sex drive, but after I started a new medication for insulin resistance my sex drive improved. Also, being busy is really bad for sex drive. He's probably got so much on his mind that he can't relax enough to think about sex. There's probably not much you can do about it if this is the case. Just be understanding and don't take it personally - it is not you or anything that you are doing wrong. It's a chemical thing that's going on with him.

Because he is on medication for his diabetes and high blood pressure, the meds may be inhibiting his sex drive. That is not abnormal. He should discuss the situation with his doctor who may change his meds.
