I know Texas has been making the College World Series for the past few decades with Augie Garrido as their head coach. They won the world series in 1983, 2002 and 2005. Cal St Fullerton is another team that doesn't get much national exposure, but everyone knows them as a baseball school because they've been to the world series so much. The most dominate school of late has been LSU, winning 5 national titles since 1990. Most of the great teams (as does major league talent) seem to come from the west in the form of Stanford, USC, CS Fullerton, Arizona, or Arizona St. Alot of Big 12 and Pac 10 schools seem to make it to the world series consistently. The teams that are ahead right not in the world series are UNC, Rice, ASU and OSU, so once again there are alot of schools from the west. USC did have a run of 5 straight national championships from 1970-74, but the most impressive team lately has been the LSU Tigers.

This is a tough question because there are MANY great programs around the country. It used to be the West Coast and the Southern schools fielded the best teams year in and year out, but that is changing quickly. Look at Michigan's and Ohio State's success that last decade. That said, if I had to choose a program that I would love to get exposure to, it would be Florida State or Miami. These programs send more players to the pros, and their facilities are considered among the best in the nation. In the West, I would choose UCLA.
