take off the door panel
remove the rivits or bolts holding the glass to the regulator and use a piece of wood to hold it up for the time being

Only easy way is to pull up on the window while someone operates the switch in the up position---keep tapping the switch. Sometimes if you pound on the door trim panel in the area of the motor, it may work intermittently if theres a bad connection---also try gently wiggling the wires in the harness that goes from the front edge of the door to the body---those wires can fray over time from opening the door and cause the power windows to not operate or work periodically. Could also be just a bad switch which you could try to replace or test.....It may just be the motor is weak and needs replacing-- by lifting the window you may have enough extra power to get it back up.

your in a no win situation. The effect in put in to get it up you just might get it fixed. Put it simply it is a pain to do either .
