Do you think the government is hiding aliens?

yes i really do.
Aliens do exist, to many eye witnesses for it to be a lie. Aliens have always been here in my opinion, and i don't just think that it is the government that is hiding what they know, i think that NASA is partly to blame too, just look at some NASA footage that people have managed to take from them where it shows them in space stations looking out of their windows watching weird space crafts speeding past them.

I honestly do not really care for aliens, i just prefer to be one of those people that keeps an open mind towards things, those videos i talked about you can see in youtube.

And just so you know i disagree with Bradley, i don't think that people would "freak out" if they knew the truth, its people like him that run the governments, they give the rest of us too little credit. If anything, i feel that the truth would bring us all closer together, we would no longer feel that its this country vs that one, but us humans. We should feel upset that the government has little faith in our intelligence (well most of us anyway)

I'd say it is likely. ^_^ Just consider one facet of it: What would happen if people all over the United States, or all over the world for that matter, *found out* they weren't alone in the universe?

*Every* major fundie religion would have a massive freak-out, either believing that the "End of Days" was here or just plain enforcing *denial* on a huge scale so that everybody wouldn't *just leave*. Really, it would challenge the radical, fundamentalist faiths *all over* and do so *severely*.

Which in turn would lead to *lots* of social disorder as both the fundies and those who *already despise them* have their mutual freak-outs and rail at each other *more forcibly* than what they do now. It would lead to people getting physical and violent.

And people already do this over *much lesser* issues, like cartoons, don't you think?

So hells yeah, the *proof* that life lies on other worlds and the *proof* that evolution really is the truth....these are going to be hidden from the public eyes for some time. It has to be this way to keep Freedom of Religion from becoming an endangered species in a world that has *every right* already to make it extinct.

Just saying....having E.T.s show up at the wrong time in the wrong way could seriously set what passes for Western Civilization *these days* on its ear. Sad part of it is....in some ways we were *more* ready for E.T.s back in the 1970s, you know? Just in terms of culture and tolerance.

if by illegal aliens from foreign countries such as mexico, then yes, if you mean from outer space, then no, i don't think that we would be smart enough to know what an alien was if it smacked us in the face. we seem to be expecting a human like species to come and greet us one day, but i don't see that actually happening.
