I believe in Creation.
I don't believe that a dead earth could have created life, spontaneously or otherwise. I believe a creator took time and thought things out, and made us and everything else.
People can believe evolution if they want, but all you have to do is type in "Lucy/ hoax" or "piltdown man/ hoax" and you'll see that much of the evolutionary theory is dead, but hasn't been reported on by the media. It's a big lie.
Adolf Hitler said, "The bigger the lie, the more people will believe it." Evolution is a big lie.
We're taller than we were 100 yrs ago because our diets have changed, we live longer, and we are healthier. It's not evolution, it's adaptation.

Hi Beth C. The very, very, frustrating part of your question is, in all likely hood, we will never truly know how we got here. As humans, we want answers to issues like this. It is our nature to want-to-know. The frustration comes from the fact we probably never will. I think Creation filled this need at first. A way to provide answers as how we got here, in an era when there was more questions than evidence. Now, human remains have been unearth dating back one, two, and two and one-half million years. And in the more recent past, (less than one million years) there appears to have been four different species of humans. All of us currently, are the only species that remain out of the four. Can't help ya much I'm afraid, but research in to the past sometimes helps to understand the present. Good luck.

I think creation and evolution go hand in hand. I believe God created life that is highly adaptable. Life that is intelligently created to evolve to meet challenges to survival.

It is foolish to believe that the earth is only 5000 years old. There is too much evidence to the contrary. I think it is more likely that the time references in the bible are misunderstood. I think a day from the perspective of God may be many years to us here on earth.

I find it extremely difficult to discount all the physical and tangible evidence of cavemen and changes in the human body over the years etc etc to believe that Adam and Eve was it. People are taller and bigger than they were just 100 years ago. Why is that if we are not evolving? Creationism flies in the face of all logic and reason for me. Thank you.

It took millions of years, just for life to appear on land. Hundreds of millions more after that for humans to emerge.

Ever considered going back to school? It wouldn't hurt, you might enjoy it.
