He had a great career with the Washington Redskins. He had at one time led the league with Receptions in a season 106, back then that was damn good. He took over the league record for most receptions in 92 and had it for a few years before it was taken by Rice. He never complained, never asked for more money, always handed the ball to the ref after a catch, and when he broke the career recption record he was the most humble person to grab such an accolade. He should have been in HOF his 1st year. Unlike Jerry, Reed, Harrison, and some others, Monk went through a few different QB's in his time.
