Today, a story broke news on how several rockets were fired into Israel from Lebanon and Hezbollah is now being blamed. And it wouldn't surprise me as the Middle East is further falling apart when the Hamas militants recently overthrew the Fatah government in Palestine and Hezbollah might be trying to take advantage of the situation.

If Israel became to salary a war on Hezbollah they extra suitable objective in the route of Syria, because its the inspiration of the challenge. maximum Christians and many Muslims in Lebanon even some Shia Muslims are anti-Hezbollah , take a look into wikileaks. Israel can bomb Lebanon see you later because it needs, yet Hezbollah will re-arm and get even better at the same time as Israel withdraw.

If you want to kill a snake you do not strike it's tail. You strike it's head. In this case hezbollah is the tail, syria is the body, and iran is the head. The head transports nutrients to the body which gives life to the tail. Israel will never beat hezbollah it is militarilly impossible unless you strike lebanon without anybody knowing and without throwing "leaflets", doubt israel will do it. You cannot defeat hezballah unless you bring down the assad and nejadi regime, and change the face of middle eastern politics.

And no,I doubt that Israel would risk another war in Lebanon especially that there are UN peacekeeping troops...I bet there are going to be a few countries not so happy if those troops are going to be caught in the middle of a war...

Edit:Actually the story appeared in Haaretz and it says that Israel is not blaming Hezbollah for it and that Hezbollah has denied any involvement in this...

It will never end until one side wins the war. Cease fires only cause more innocent deaths and delay the inevitable.

In that case, I hope Israel finishes its job to the end. They should not have to live in fear of terrorist attacks all their life.

stevielc: if the terrorists leave Israel alone it will leave them alone, but they keep firing missiles and committing suicide bombings and then cry foul when Israel responds.
