There are many areas that have very comparable climate conditions. Examples include California, the Mediterranean and South Africa. All three have very similar conditions. The mountain desert of Chile are very similar to the inland deserts of China.

That being said, there are no areas on earth that are completely identical. Take a hike through some hilly terrain and you will see this. The temperature and humidity can vary drastically over even a few hundred feet of trail.

In theory the Earth's climate is symmetric, which means there are two identical spots, at the same range at the north side of the Equator, and at the south side of the Equator.
Eg: North Pole weather is almost the same as the South Pole weather (66˚ 33' 38" N and 66˚ 33' 38" S)

Why? A few kilometers from where you live, the weather will mostly be same. Also between latitude and longitude, the latitude plays a bigger role in determining the weather.

After all, all longitudes see the same sun within 24 hours of each other.
