The name has a double meaning.

They are played on a board, yet most people play them when there is nothing else to do, hence they are bored. Clever.

Anyway, my favorite all time game would have to be....TROUBLE.

NIce and simple format. Pop the plastic bubble, move accordingly. Doesn't take forever or have complicated rules like Life, Monopoly or Clue.

If it's board games, I go for Chess or Go. I don't like monopoly though. I feel like it's just a game of luck. I'm sorry. Maybe I just can't play it well :)

I really enjoy chess - other than draughts / checkers, this is the oldest war game that I know of and it involves plotting and strategically surrendering some pieces appropriately within the game to win.

Mall madness is the best! I love the old version but the new one is pretty fun to. I love to play it with my kids but they get mad at me because I always seem to win. Hey experienced shopaholic here :) (at least when I have the dough). Life is also cool and Pokemon Sorry and Monopoly. Yes I am an adult, but I try hard not to be.
