Cheating is cheating, no matter the gender. Either gender will stick together. But NOTHING makes cheating right.

Most men are idiots and can get away with it. Women are more mature, however, that has nothing to do with it. Since man and women came to be women has always been inferior. I think that now we're "going back into the cave," so to speak. What I mean is that all of the respect women have fought for and rightly deserved is being lost again.

This is mostly because women now are not cheating and flirting with every flighty thing that comes their way, and everything thinks that they're all like that.

Since they think like that they consider it to be WORSE when a woman cheats than when a man does.

I think they consequences for both men and women are, or should be the same.

A cheat is a cheat, the gender does not matter but women have always had the bad rap.
I think it builds up the man's ego if he finds all these excuses for his cheating. Like he is trying to justify it.
Its not excusable for anyone. If you wanna cheat.. get out of the relationship before that happens and stay single!

Going through this now! IMO it goes both ways... there has got to be a reason why either one would cheat. In my case he wasn't getting what he needed from me as a wife. And he certainly isn't the hubby I thought he would be. When we married we both thought the other was something they weren't. Now 8 years & 3 kids later we are realizing that what we have isn't what either one of us want. BUT it took him finding a girl 12 years younger to realize this! We are great friends & love our kids, but we both suck at being married to each other! There was a lot of trying to work things out, but in the end it didn't happen & we agreed that we couldn't be married anymore.

We had plenty of sex, so it wasn't that I wasn't putting out! And letting myself go came with having kids. I know, I can work on that, I didn't have to let myself go, but when it's hereditary...

And no, it's not more excusable for a man to cheat...take a look at the Bible for that answer!

it is an age old syndrome, It has something to do with morality, masculinity and tradition. In the old times people with the most wives means you are the best among the male townsfolk. But when wives cheat they immediately killed, for one simple reason, not one woman should surpass the male EGO.

It is the perception that society has of women. That is the one thing that never seems to change, all els appears to evolve, with the exception of that. From the beginning of time men were allowed multiple wives, harems,if there wife could not bare children they could sleep with someone else, etc.Although I despise the act in its totality, thats just their way of attempting to stay in the forefront on everything because we women actually run this crazy world

because of the fact that is in undemanding terms whilst it takes place to them that they incredibly know the way undesirable it feels to be betrayed. besides, adult males are via nature aggressive, and the assumption of yet another guy going there means he has lost and that's an excellent blow to the wide-unfold male ego, while his very own cheating appears like a win until that factor (because of the fact he's getting laid and has extra suitable than one female, which to the cheating male, is a demonstration of fulfillment). Edit: I additionally think of it has something to do with undemanding biology: ensuring your offspring are yours considering which you because of the fact the male are designed to furnish for the female and offspring. whether the guy would not have toddlers with the lady, that could be a deep, primitive stress, because of the fact the appropriate objective of intercourse is duplicate. yet another guy going there could flaunt that interior the guy's face.

It is the history of a male-dominated society where women have been viewed as second-class. I hope there is a day where the sexes are truly viewed equally and women - all women - are treated with the respect they deserve.

Yep.......Here is a few more double standard

When a guy is overweight, we call him a big guy but a woman we call her fat.

Why it cost your husband $5 to have his shirt clean at the dry cleaner and it cost 9$ for your blouse, it`s the same garment.

Cost your husband $10 for a simple haircut and for you it`s $25.
