you are right that the WNBA isn't as popular as some people had hoped it to be, but it can be exciting, you get girls like Candice Parker, and you can have a very exciting game... maybe not as exciting as a NBA game, but probably more exciting then the NBA Finals this year

I watched the WNBA from the beginning. The Comets were very exciting, winning the 1st four championships of the WNBA behind their 3 stars Cynthia Cooper, Sheryl Swoopes & Tina Thompsons. Recently the league has fell upon harder times with the viewers & paying public. The main reason, the ladies play below the rim, not above. So it doesn't appear as exciting.
This league's play should not be compared to the NBA's but it is. The ladies game is based more on fudamentals.
Face it even the NBA has problems with the viewing public if the game emphasizes fudamentals over excitement (re: Spurs). At the same time most people are not interested in women playing sports.
I'm glad Dave Stern is giving these ladies an oppertunity. Hopefully they can take advantage.

First of all you asked someone a question so don't answer it with ****. All they need is people with character, with strength, and with heart . I don't dislike you but you don't know if a girl wants to join the wnba and you ruined her dream . You can't say it will never be a popular league you're not God . I won't lie though some girls at edreco play better than most of the women in the wnba . But we just need more Candace Parker's , dunks ,and turmoil

I've enjoyed the games from year one.
Did not watch any this year. Changed jobs and just not time for that TV. Soon, hope to watch.
But, will tell you these ladies have some guts. They play hard and play hurt
They do not have guaranteed contracts and bust the whole game.
They are something to be respected.
maybe you should watch a game from start to finish.
Other sports, a player has a hang nail and on the 21 day disabled list.
Nope, disapgree with you
And I am a guy, not a lady writing this one.

David Stern has made a lot of mistakes he wont admit too. This is definitely one of them. Although this one was a good idea that never panned out. If they can get better play all around it may have a chance, but I don't think most people will give it another chance/

it will be exciting when i turn on SportsCenter to see that some chick dunked in another's face, dropping the defender to the ground, flexes over her, and drops the ball in her lap. the defender stands up and pops her nose, as benches empty and haymakers fly, connecting, and covering the court with blood.
since the basketball sucks, this is the only chance this worthless league can provide entertainment. and since this will never happen, i have a simple answer to your question: "No."

The WNBA is a near failed league, They aren't meeting goals nor are they meeting expectations from investors and owners. Soon to be a defunct organization.

i think of they might upload it to a present day nba interest, like the nhl has with the ohl, ahl, ect. The finding out factor would be in the event that they're diverse employer entities and how they could share the earnings from the interest, licensing, ect. If that replaced into all advantageous, they might easily upload it in.

I have absolutely no idea.
I have never watched any part of a WNBA game.
I am going to keep it that way for my whole life.
WNBA is just so stupid. Its been on for like 1 week and they are already spotting All-star voting commercials.

I dont like the WNBA
The fg % is horrible, theres not to many spectacular plays/dunks, and not any real hustle. It's a normal basketball game thats fine that they want to include women too if they want to pursue their dream. Although it's definately not meant for T.V or viewing pleasure.
