Yes...definately...you know reality tv has had its day when there re spin offs from a previous reality show, like Flavor of Love Charm school, that show wasn't lame enough, but they had to make another show even lamer...what is wrong with the world today that we can'tfind something on tv worth watching?

Not until the best one of all (Survivor) is played out and goes off. There is a great deal of reality TV that is terrible dreck. I have no interest in the talent shows.
I have been watching TV for all of my 51 years and all of it goes in cycles. Look at how many Friends copies there were, and how much was junk and how much was decent.

No but it has been stretched over the last few years. I'd much rather see a few good reality TV shows than lots of rubbish, boring ones.

If "reality T.V." means those never ending soaps (banal and tedious though they are) I'm afraid they are probably here to stay. They have taken the place gossip used to occupy in the days when people used to meet up and actually talk to each other about things that actually happened,(mostly) not just stuff made up by scriptwriters.

Most of it is pretty much the same thing over and over. A few aren't too bad. But, I gave up on Survivor before the first season was over. When I heard the previews I thought it would really have people stranded. Nope, there's a whole crew there filming.

I would like to think so. Reality tv is getting more and more ridiculous and desparate wannabes are wearing on people's nerves. However, television producers still insist on churning out more and more crap. Hopefully they get the hint and give up someday soon.

It has in Italy. They are going to ban it. Let's hope the idea catches on over here. There is already one way- don't watch it.
