The important thing about garage sales is to price things with a little bargaining room. The lower the prices, the faster things will go, but you also want maximum profit. So, I suggest the following; mark your prices, then accept offers if they meet the "bargain down" price. 19'' TV (retail $98) Price $35, bargain down to $25 Sanio DVD player (retail $50) Price $20, bargain to $15 Sony boombox (retail $60) Price $20, bargain to $15 Microwave (retail $60) Price $20, bargain to $15 Recliner chair (retail $300) Price $100, bargain to $75 Panasonic bread maker (retail $120) Price $40, bargain to $30 Cuisinart immersion blender (retail $30) Price $15, bargain to $10 appliances which retail under $20 (such as waffle iron, minichoper, hand mixer, blender)? Price at $8, bargain to $4

i've never had a garage sale, but ive heard that people go to them to buy things cheap (otherwise they would just go to the store and buy them new) are my prices too expensive?....i would say average out all the realistic prices people give you and if no one buys any of the stuff just lower the price at the tag sale (and be sure to let them know what is gently used, or new, etc.)

Good Luck!<3

Take a look through the Ebay sites to get an idea what prices people are asking for items.

If in the States use Ebay usa, in in the UK use Ebay uk.

$1 of each item. If they are better items.. take them to a resale shop.. you'll get a better return on your items.
