Rabbits are very territorial and need to be separated by the time they are 3 months of age. Keep your doe rabbit in her own cage, and keep strangers away from her when she is having her babies. When rabbits are frightened, they sometimes try to get their babies back inside of them for safety, but they don't realize that they are eating them.

well first you probably shouldnt put a rabbit and 3 guinea pigs in the same pen....there could be territorial issues or she is going to have her baby soon and need space and the only way to get it was to fight...it is an list of endless reasons why it happened. in my opinion you should always seperate animals if they have not grown up together (the exception is cows, horses and other animals like that unless they are fighting) you need to make sure you have enough space for your animals otherwise they will kill to get what they need good luck

Yes they do, as many other animals do when they are hormonal. It does differ depending on the personality of the rabbit. It does seem like you should separate her from the rest of your animals, and really unless it's a very big hutch, you shouldn't have more than 2 animals in it.

It might depend on the individual rabbit, but I had a rabbit that had several litters and was never once aggressive. I think you should separate your rabbit from other animals if it is *killing* them.

most likely the rabbit felt territorial and decided to injure one and later thought all your guinea pigs were that same one
