Moore's "Sicko" is available on line, the link is here...

Moore has no qualms about it being viewed for free....
"Well, I don’t agree with the copyright laws and I don’t have a problem with people downloading the movie and sharing it with people. As long they’re not doing it to make a profit off it, as long as they’re not, you know, trying to make a profit off my labor"

Moore does give back some....
"For several years now, Jim Kenefick has been railing against the Oscar-winning director on Moorewatch.com. Recently, Kenefick wrote about the difficulty he was having paying his wife's medical bills. Fellow conservatives guided him toward a cheaper health insurer, but Kenefick said he still had trouble making payments.
"Someone e-mailed me and asked if an 'anonymous' benefactor could offer to pay my first year's premiums - $12,000," Kenefick wrote on his site.
He was skeptical when the check arrived. "I opened a whole new account at my bank, waited for it to clear, checked twice with bank personnel to make sure it wasn't a scam, and waited a full 60 days before spending the money. At that time, I started drawing on it and paying the monthly premiums until it was gone."
We can now confirm to Kenefick that his secret benefactor is none other than the dreaded, detestable, loathsome Michael Moore

Fox News said of "Sicko" that it is a "brilliant and uplifting new documentary":

"Unlike many of his previous films ('Roger and Me,' 'Bowling for Columbine,' 'Fahrenheit 9-11'), 'Sicko' works because in this one there are no confrontations. Moore smartly lets very articulate average Americans tell their personal horror stories at the hands of insurance companies. The film never talks down or baits the audience."

Michael Moore has always raised points that aren't merely "good", they're foreshadowing of what's to come:

"Roger & Me" - Bloated product budgets in Detroit could only lead to the loss of jobs and market share for Big Auto... and that has proven to be true.

"Bowling for Columbine" - Fear of the NRA had rendered Congress and state legislatures incapable of even debating adequate enforcement of gun laws or examination of causes for non-defensive gun violence, which set the conditions for Columbine... and without change in status quo, set the conditions for Virginia Tech.

"Farhenheit 9-11" - Hysteria around getting even with someone, anyone, for 9/11 - merely for the sake of *saying* we're getting even - led the US into a conflict predicated on false and mispropriated pretenses (i.e. an intelligence and history shell game)... with no positive effect on American security.

For some reason, he ALWAYS overreaches somewhere - "hick" rabbit lady in "Roger & Me", presence of missile assembly plant near high school in "Bowling, specious queries to members of Congress about kids serving in Iraq in "Fahrenheit". These are the "confrontations" that the Fox News review alludes to, and they undermine the otherwise highly structured and thoughtful arguments in his films.

But is THAT why he's hated by certain people? Seriously, what is there to HATE? That's awfully strong in light of his clear interest in making Americans think about how the country can be made even better.

Yeah, I'd watch "Sicko" for free - but while Moore disagrees with copyright laws, I support them wholeheartedly, so I'll pay.

Anyone who can't see what a crisis the medical system in this country is in either.

a. has enough money so they have good medical.
b. has no medical problems.

people who can't see the real plight of the lower middle class can't see the plight of the uninsured. I know a lady who almost died because she couldn't afford medical treatment. I am talking a basic surgery. Pretty sad statement on the country of wealth.
I will definetly watch the clip. Thanks.

If someone is making people mad then you know he is making them look in the mirror and they don't like what they
see.

I think the information is outstanding, thank you. Michael Moore is a true journalist that the Republicans want to censor.

Yep, I don't agree with his politics. That is why I waited until HBO aired Fahrenheit 9/11. I already pay for HBO, so I watched it. If I get the time, I'll watch "Sicko" for free.

The funny thing is your quote from Moore.

I see the brand of socialism he supports as people profiting from other people's labor. Surprised he doesn't see the connection. Oh well.

I'll save the link.

Yes, I would watch it for free. I will pay to see it also. As far as I'm concerned Moore is the only man left with any guts.

Moore is the epitome of everything some people hate. I think he's great and I will pay to see his movies. Let freedom ring and the truth be told. Too bad some people have such huge blinders on they refuse to see the truth.

Well I see by the people above me , they are always willing to listen or see both sides of a argument. This is what makes them so informed.
