Freddie Mercury, without a doubt. Jim Morrison is considered a legend because he died in his prime. Mercury was a legend while still alive. No other band packed out Wembley Stadium like Queen did, and no other frontman has ever held the audience in the palm of his hand like Mercury could. Not even Robbie Williams gives off that kind of magnetism on stage, and he has said himself that he wishes he could have been Freddie Mercury.

Sadly, Jim Morrison never got the chance to show the world what he was fully capable of, due to his passing, but I think it's safe to say that if he hadn't died so young, he would have boozed his life away anyway.

They were both great entertainers in their own right, but for me, there will never be anyone who can replace Freddie Mercury, or take the frontman persona to greater heights.

R.I.P. Freddie and Jim !! We miss ya !!

Freddie Mercury was the best entertainer of all time in my book. Also, the best singer with his 4 octave range that he could push better than anyone. He was so dynamic and charismatic yet also a very private person at the same time.

Jim was great in his own way but did not have the power that Freddie did to constantly test the waters of other genres, such as opera! Freddie was always "pushing the envelope" and was not afraid to do so. I think that is what, to me, makes Freddie the all time greatest.

RIP Freddie. We miss you and still love you!

Freddie Mercury, No dout...
He might been Gay, but it dosen't meens he wasn't one of the best musicians ever.
plus, Alot of Gay musicians are amazing. musicians dont have to be straight to make great music.
Freddie made amazing music, had a uniq voice and have created history.
Isn't that a good enough reason to choose Freddie?

JIM MORRISON
To me, he's just God. Freddie Murcury was amazing, but Jim Morrison just hits me in the soul, it's hard to explain. It also doean't hurt that he's the hottest thing ever.
