Paris was singled out because she was a celebrity and has been punished more than all of us would have for the same crime. The justice system basically failed her, because the judge in her case was prejudiced obviously against people with money. Prejudice works both ways. Also, an article came out this week where we found out that last year the judge's wife was stopped while driving with a suspended license, just like Paris. And the judges wife got a $168 ticket, with no jail time. So who's being treated unfairly?

I personally can't stand Paris Hilton. She is a spoiled ignorant little girl who thinks that the world owes her something....not because something great that she has accomplished, but because of who she is. Pathetic.
That said, my opinion on her being let out is this:
I feel that she has paid her dues and it's time for her to go home. She has suffered far more than the average person for the crime she committed. To an extent, I feel sorry for her. This is a girl who has never been told "no" a day in her life. I mean even as a little girl, she has probably never had her nose put in a corner or been grounded. She has no clue about discipline. To put her in jail is an extremely big shock to her. This is the fault of the parents! I hope that this has taught her a valuable lesson that you cannot just break the rules and expect your mommy to bail you out. Money obviously cannot buy everything. I am hoping this is the case, but I doubt it. Her mommy and daddy will make sure of that....
Wherez my leg....didn't they do that already??? It was called "The Simple Life".

Honestly, I think she should have to do the entire 45 days. If you or I had been stopped for DWI, and then twice for driving with no license, not only would we end up in general population, but we would lose our license for 6 months to a year. She will get out and go back to doing the same thing she has always done.

She said that this experience has changed her life and she will not be the dumb blonde she is anymore (to quote her). I hope it is a life changing experience for her and she feels better about her life afterwards, and learns from her mistakes before she goes down the same path as her friend (Br. Spears).

At this moment, I don't really care if she goes to hell. I'm so sick of her. Her record company just dropped her. She didn't do well before all of this, they realize that they won't get a dime out of anyone.
She said she found God. What a joke! How phony can she be?
Her parents must be proud to raise a child who's just a laughing stock to the whole world. If that's my child, I will be humiliating and killing myself.

What they should really do is make her live like a "commoner" for 6 months. She should be made to live with some average people, in an average home, eating average food, and on average, have no money like the rest of us.

I have heard that too, that she was sentenced to more time than anyone else would have been. Her going to jail pleased many people, however have you noticed how much publicity it gave her?
