p = (2q² - 3) / 5
5p = 2q² - 3
2q² = 5p + 3
q² = (5p + 3) / 2
q = √ [ (5p + 3) / 2 ]

Original: p=[(2q)^2 - 3]/5
Multiply both sides by 5: 5p=(2q)^2-3
Add 3 to both sides: 5p+3=(2q)^2
Simply the right side: 5p+3=4q^2
Divide both sides by 4: (5p+3)/4=q^2
Find the square root of both sides:

square root of [(5p+3)/4]=q

p=(2qsquared-3)/5
5p=(2q^2-3)
2q^2-3=25p^2
2q^2=25p^2+3
q^2=25/2 p^2+3/2
q=sqrt(25/2p^2+3/2). answer
