As the rivers merges into the sea it carries with it mineral ions from the rocks which include Na+ Cl- Mg++ e.t.c. dissolved in it

Na+Cl- ions combine together to form salt

The salt is obtained by evaporating the sea water.

Water from fresh water streams carries a very tiny bit of salt from the ground and rocks into the sea. When that water arrives in the ocean the water evaporates and the salt stays.

There are (or rather were) mineral rocks in middle of the seas when they were being formed. When the flowing water would collide with these rocks, some of the minerals (viz. salts) dissolved in the waters which gradually made all the seas salty.

It is washed in off the mountains and stays in the big lake called the ocean. Water(pure) evaporates is carried up into the clouds to rain down on the lands again and washes minerals and salts into the ocean.
