I got my belly pierced and i was told it takes 4-10 months does it really take that long to heal??????????????

It really depends on how clean of a person you are. I have many percings and have had no problem with any of them. Since you just got your navel percied, the best thing for you to do is not use Neosporne( how ever you spell it). It is the worst thing, it actually houses germs, it basically attracts them. The best thing for you to use is something called "Bactine". It's wonderful. I know you will have the urge to touch it, but please dont. Your hands are one of the most germ occupied items on your body,Despite the fact you wash them or not. So ...what it all comes down too...is keep it clean, keep your body clean and it will heal in less then a month.
