I just give them away freely. But I get a lot back which is grand - especially if they come back from a small child. Actually, such apparent generosity is my sneaky way of psycho-analysing others on the trot, to see how confident or fearful they are; and of getting some personal recognition of my own existence. So I'm not so generous really, because I get back more than I give, surely. What fun.

I would smile back at you then smile at the next person and then that person would smile back and then at someone else..and it would keep going till everyone was smiling.
