I have lots of wind chimes, little ones, they don't put out too much noise, only when it is windy and because they are little it isn't very loud. Would the noise scare off the Hummingbirds, I don't see any going to my feeder, water level is still the same.....anyone??

They will at first but once they get used to it they are fine. Just takes them longer to begin feeding from your feeders.

Dear Ms Quick---you say that the birds make too much noise and you cannot hear the wind chimes. I think you said ---you put wind chimes around your bird feeder to scare them away---cause they were eating too much bird food. That will work for the ole Hummer and the rest of the bird population..

yes of course it does especially if the tubes on the chime are silver cause the sun hits it and it gives off a sparkle and that scares the birds off . good luck and take down that chime.

I'm sure they do. Just the slight movement they make would be enough to scare them. I would move one or the other if I were you.
