It didn't do anything for me.
Since I discarded it, life has gotten steadily better.
Religious belief is an emotional need, so I have no problem with people believing that stuff if they need to.

Believing in GOD is not about being Religious or joining a particular religious belief system, it is about knowing the difference between what is good and what is not. But having said this, how will you know that what you believe in is correct if you do not have a reference point? So it will be important that you are at the very least be familiar with some scriptures because if you do not know how to read and write and you are part of Yahoo answers you will get confused if you did not know GOD already before you got here. But to give you a clue, the Scripture says "don't you know that the kingdom of heaven is within you?" does this refer to chirstian, a jew, or a muslim or a non believer? You figure it out for yourself. That is called the freedom of conscience and belief within a democratic constitutional state. But Democracy is itself a system of worship that allows for EVIL to co exist side by side with righteousness, that bis why there is war in the middle east and there is no peace in the world because the very system that was supposed to save the world failed to represent GOD's will on the planet.

Belief in Invisible Sky Critters severely limits a person's ability to live a full life for the simple reasons:
1. All the energy going into performing rituals supporting your belief in Invisible Sky Critters is wasted when it could have been used in something productive.
2. All the attention you waste on thinking and or being paranoid about what the Invisible Sky Critter sees or ‘thinks’ could have been used in the pursuit of something worthwhile.
3. All the money you gave to the scammers who support you and teach you about the Invisible Sky Critter could have been used in the pursuit of something worthwhile.
That's just off the top of my head - think how successful you may have been if you'd concentrated on the job or your studies.
Actually I quite like the fact so many millions believe all this Invisible Sky Critter nonsense - it allows we average people to pursue our dreams and goals with less competition.
Keep the faith. LOL

If you have a reason to live and it is not your family, friends or money, than you certainly got a great chance to enjoy it as much as a happy person can do... In any case, if you do believe in God, and after death there's nothing but ashes, than you've lost nothing when you were alive, you had dignity and self-respect. What if you don't believe? well, what if there's God and the heaven, you'll miss all of that!!!
By believing you set yourself free, therefore, your life is so much more exiting and full of great time, in presence of God and all the benefits of that.

It’s more than just believing in God, It’s trusting Him for all you you’ll ever need.
For years I searched the world for meaning in my life. All I found was what the world had to offer.
Since knowing God, I now know who I am, and why I am. You can search forever for enhancement in life, and you’ll never know fulfillment and contentment until you learn it from the one who designed you.
Pray hard, life is too short. Be still and listen for the soft voice that calls you in love to be all you can be.

Honey, for myself it has enhanced every corner of my life. Only by trusting and believing in God have I been able to live a full life thus far. I know that He is in charge and that nothing is going to happen to me without first being filtered through His hands.

For me it has enhanced my life. As a young person I thought I had everything under control...I had so many balls in the air, one was bound to drop. And when it did...I dropped everything. My life spiraled out of control and I was a lost soul.
I always believed there was a God...but it wasn't until I started to believe IN God that my life started to turn around. You see, we are all vessels...and when we fill ourselves with ourselves, God can't fill us with him. I had to humble myself and become a servant to others. I had to come to the realization that Life wasn't about me. I was and am not the "Center of the Universe"...if I were to die tomorrow, life would go on.
Today, I am proud of the person I am. I am successful because God is the center of my world. With God by my side I have been able to transform lives, humble minds, heal hearts, mend homes. Our God is truly an awesome God.
The funny part is...I had to go through the troubled times for a reason. It was my calling to struggle for the goodness of God.

Define believing. Define God. Define enhance. Define limit. Define "full life". In other words, you don't have a question. At least not one that could be answered truthfully. One has to assume too much in an attempt to answer such a question.
Try again. But be more specific and thoughtful.

I think having God in my life has enhanced it. God's Word showed me how to truly be a servant. Anybody can give or do charity work, but to do it as unto the Lord is far more superior. You don't get the credit, God does.

Spirit enhances ones life. If it weren't for him there would be no Earth or life on it.
You call him God, I know him as Spirit.
Blessings
