I really want to put my flag back up, but the wood on my window frame in the center of the house is soft and apparently rotten. What can I do or where can I attach the flag? I don't have any pillars or awnings etc. It started out looking OK, but then kept dropping. Not getting windows replaced, any other thoughts? Thanks!

You will need something solid to anchor to. If the wood is rotten, it should be replaced. If you are renting, tell the homeowner. If this is your home, get it replaced.
